2.7b Release Preparations (Updated(22))

We will release a last patch before moving to Gracia Epilogue. We want to finish few things before updating =)

Here's a preview. This is an initial list.

Custom Features Implementation

Primeval Battles IMPLEMENTED
The Primeval Battles is a PvP/PvE event and takes place on the Primeval Beach. The battles begins as soon as a certain amount of players has been killed within a minute on the beach.

When the battles begins, whole server is notified and the Primeval Buffer Dyna spawns:

In order to receive magical support from Dyna you must have killed a player on the Primeval Beach. If you leave the Primeval territory while participating in the Primeval Battles, all your buffs will be canceled. (You will still keep your score though). The battles lasts 30minutes.

During the battles, the Primeval Manager will start walking around on the Primeval Beach and, sometimes, laugh at/resurrect players that dies on the beach.

Once certain amount of kills are reached, special Deinonychus will be spawned by waves. These Deinonychus are stronger than the usual Deinonychus and will aggro any player that's flagged for pvp. Based on your Primeval kills count you will receive more or less drops when killing the Deinonychus's.

When dieing on the Primeval Beach while playing the Primeval Battles, the respawn-to-village button will not be shown, and you will be automatically sent to nearest after 15seconds.

At the end of the event, the clan that collected the most kills will be announced and all players that participated in the battles within this clan will be rewarded based on their kill count. In addition, the top-killer will be rewarded and announced as well. The event cannot take place again for 1h30m after it ended.

(Primeval Battles) Beta Phase: DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS
- An issue causing clan scores to not properly reset between rounds has been resolved. APPLIED
- Kante will now announce in shout to Primeval Island when a player/clan takes the lead. APPLIED
- Kante will now display the leading clan and player as well as their scores in real time during the Primeval Battles. Additionally, talking to Kante while flagged for pvp is now possible. APPLIED
- You will now be notified of your current Primeval Battles score upon killing players. You will also be notified when your reward multiplier increases. APPLIED
- Deinonychus will now reward you by drop even if you didn't kill anyone in the Primeval Battles. APPLIED
(These drops are still temporary and will be changed once 2.7b is Released. (Keep in mind, more points you collect by killing players during the primeval battles, more drops you will receive upon killing the Deinonychus. The drops are multiplied by one once every 25points. Basically, let's say you have 0 kills, reward multiplier will be set to 1. If you have 25kills, it'll be set to 2, etc.))
- A little issue with leading clan/player shouts has been fixed. APPLIED

Development of the Primeval Battles is now over and this event is now meant to be working properly. If you notice any issue please report it under Issues Found section.

Note: The rewards listed under will be added once 2.7b is released. For now, temporary rewards has been set.


(Primeval Battles) Upcoming Features: THESE FEATURES WILL BE ADDED ONCE 2.7b PATCH IS RELEASED.
- Primeval Battles Improvements
Several rewards has been added while playing the Primeval Battles:
The Deinonychus will now drop Deinonychus Eggs. Based on your Primeval Beach Kills count, you will receive more or less Deinonychus Eggs when killing a Deinonychus.


- Primeval Manager
The Primeval Manager Kante will reward you with cool stuff for the Deinonychus Eggs collected during the Primeval Battles. Kante also displays the best records ever made during the Primeval Battles (Clan/Player) as well as information regarding the previous, or current primeval round.

Treasure Chests Hunt BETA VERSION IMPLEMENTED
The Treasure Chests Hunt event has been implemented. This event will take place once every 3hours. When the event begins, whole server will be notified about the Treasure Chest location.

Currently, over 250 different spawns has been done in the following locations:
- School of Dark Arts
- Cave of Trials
- Ruins of Despair
- Ant Nest
- Mithril Mines
- Execution Grounds
- Cruma Marshlands
- Cruma Tower
- Bee Hive
- Hot Springs
- Varka Silenos Outpost
- Ketra Orc Outpost
- Monastery of Silence
- Primeval Island

The chests has been given "Click it NOW!" as title to avoid confusion with usual Treasure Chests, and can't be /target'd.

In order to obtain reward once you found a chest, all you have to do is get close to it and click on it. You will be rewarded with 100 Silver Coins upon picking up a chest. Whole server will be notified regarding who found a chest, and how many chests are left. 30minutes will be given to players to find the three chests before they are removed from the world.

If all chests were found within the given time, every players that found the chests will be rewarded with a Treasure Sack which contains several rewards, more or less great based on your luck:
- 50 Large Squash's Seeds (60% Chance)
- 25 Dreams Coins (25% Chance)
- Purple Maned Horse (10% Chance)
- Formal Wear (5% Chance)

During the Christmas Period, the interval between each Treasure Chest Hunt will be lowered to 1h30.

(Treasure Chests Hunt) Beta Phase: DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS
An issue causing the announcements to continue being sent when the chest was found within 5minutes has been resolved. APPLIED
The Treasure Chests Hunt has been improved. From now on, 3chests will be spawned in the same region when the event begins. When picking up a chest, other players will be notified regarding who found which chest and how many chests are left. You will also receive 100 Silver Coins when picking up a chest. If the three chests were found during the given time, every players that found the chests will receive additional reward. (Updated event description.) APPLIED
To avoid any possible abuse, the chests has been changed so that they're invisible if you are too far away from them. The chests will appear when you get close to it, within 900 range. APPLIED

Development of the Treasure Chests Hunt is now over and this event is now meant to be working properly. If you notice any issue please report it under Issues Found section.

Other Events Updates APPLIED
Several updates/changes has been made on the existing events.

Coliseum Battles Changes:
When dieing on the Coliseum Battles, the observation mode has been removed. You will now lye on the ground and will be resurrected/teleported back in the Coliseum after 10seconds.

Hunter Battles Changes:
When dieing on the Hunter Battles, the observation mode has been removed. You will now lye on the ground and will be resurrected/teleported back to your team spawn point after 15seconds.

When reaching 25combots while playing Hunter Battles, a window requesting if you wish to be transformed into Gordon will now be shown, instead of transforming your character immediately. You will be given 15seconds to either confirm or deny.

Attacking/debuffing your team-mates while playing in Hunter Battles is no longer possible.

Hunter Deathmatch Changes:
When dieing on the Hunter Deathmatch, the observation mode has been removed. You will now lye on the ground and will be resurrected/teleported back in Hunter Village after 5seconds.

Retail Features Correction

Raid Bosses Drop System COMMING SOON
Following changes and corrections has been done on every raid bosses:
The drop system has been changed so that the players/party's that dealt the most damages obtains the loot protection.
From now on, when a raid boss dies, drops will no longer be auto-looted. They will be dropped on the ground. You will be given 15seconds to pick up everything if you obtained the loot protection before everyone else can pickup.

Raids will now be taken back to initial spawn point if they were taken too far away.

Other Changes/Fixes
Monsters AI Changes: APPLIED
All monsters has been changed so that they're teleported back to initial spawn point after five minutes of inactivity if they aren't in a close range to initial spawn point.

Raid Bosses AI Changes: APPLIED
The low, medium and high level raid bosses has been changed so that they're teleported back to initial spawn point if they are taken too far away.

Mini Raids AI Changes: APPLIED
Mini Raids AI has been changed so that they're teleported back to initial spawn when moved far away from initial spawn point.

Packets Fixes: APPLIED
The issue causing pet title not showing owner name sometimes has been solved.
When a player try to watch a party member location right after they join a party, they see default location (0, 0 ,0) until the party member moves. This issue has been resolved.
The issue causing clan/ally crests to disapear-sometimes has been resolved.

Release Date:
Unknown. Stay tuned and check out this thread from time to time for updates!

It'll take longer than expected, it's really really boring and takes a lot of time for each skill, so I'm taking it slowly.

the new event sounds great but what about tanks? they dont kill fast so they cant be rewarded as much as the other classes and ofc they will never make the last hit on a mob.....
