Elemental Attributes

Postby hellflame on Mon Feb 08, 2010 6:43 pm

Hello,

I have a question about how set the attributes on my armor. The dillema is to put to all the parts the same attributes (i think this sux) or, for example, to 3 parts fire resist and to 2 dark resist or the other option is to put a different attribute on each part of the armor (such as dark on helmet, wind on chest, fire on boots, holy on gloves etc)

I think this also depends on how i use my character, i mean titans who solo mini raids at pagans should have dark resistance on all the parts of the armor? If i pvp a lot i should follow the path for a different resistance on each part? and such staff

Thank u for your attention,
i really need some opinions, especially from your personal experience

For PVE I don't know,
But the basics are simple.

For each peice of armor, one can have up to 60 resist element.

So I think the best thing to do for pvp is

Put 1 element type for each of these
Helm
Chest
Gloves
Leggings
Boots
Cloak

On the final piece, which is the talisman belt or w/e it is called,
Get six of these, and get max element of each type on the six different ones. If you find someone hitting really hard, discover their element, and stack 120 vs them.

For default I would stack 120 Divine, since players can get so much attack with the Dance and Bishop buff. I think it is around 200 Divine attack with these 2 buffs and 150 Divine on weapon.

Yes, the Holy Weapon bishop buff gives +30/+20 divine. I can't remember which. The Dance of Light from the NPC is also simular. It gives +30/+20 not sure which.

So even with 60 against Divine, you don't get much defense. The max elemental dmg at this time is 150. So anything over that just negates defense.

So if you have 60 Divine, and they have 200 Divine attack, they are still hitting you at 140. Not much defense.

That is why with 120, it will bring it down to 80 which should help a lot. As far as I know the divine and dark are the only ones where one can get buffs to make them more powerful. For dark though, the cloak already gives 30 dark resist, so it is not as much of an issue.

He meant not talismans, he meant bracelets, bought in hunter village. S grade bracelet costs 90 hunter points, only s grade can have attributes.
We pay for our lives with death, so everything else should be free.
